Shadows begin to lengthen as the day creeps to a close.
The year is starting to tumble towards a close. I know that September has only just stepped up to the mark but it’s about now that things start to go a bit Helter Skelter.
Now in yesterday’s post I did drag you all around a bit as I took in my first Edinburgh Fringe for a couple of years, three in fact.
Right, I haven’t been to the fringe for a couple of years, we all know why but for now that goblin of unhappiness is back in it’s box so I took myself off to that capital city in the north. One of the delights of travelling in and around Manchester, well for me anyway, is the City’s Metrolink trams system. The yellow beasts trundle through the city centre and then out into the outlying suburbs and towns. The total route is something approaching sixty five miles with just under a hundred stops.
It’s not a rainy night in Georgia, it’s a rainy morning in Lancaster. I’m off and away to Cumbria using the excellent Stagecoach Explorer ticket, as Arthur Daley would say, the world is my lobster.
