
Good morning to you all from the Merseyrail platform at Liverpool Lime Street. I’m on my way to Chester to see how far the rebuilding of the new market hall is progressing. Obviously this may involve coffee and cake so watch this space.
This isn’t the quickest route for me to get to Chester but it’s an interesting one, going under the Mersey and out down the Wirral. There’s sections on the old Great Western route along the way.
