I always enjoy a visit to Fleetwood, as much as I like Blackpool it can leave me feeling a bit wrung out with the non stop fun. So I look forward to a tram ride up the promenade, hopefully with the Irish Sea sparkling in the sun, to Fleetwood on the Fylde ( Fylde is the name of the administrative district ) where the pace a little slower and where I can grab a few hours walk around the town and along the sand dunes.
It was the sound of music that caught my ears as I made my way past the Marine Hall. It turned out that the Fylde Ukulele Network were entertaining people catching the sun in the halls gardens.
It provided a lively musical interlude before I went off in search of fish and chips at Knott End.
