If you are a regular reader of my blog ( thank you!) you’ll have worked out that one of my main photographic interests is street photography. Watching and recording the daily to and fro of everyday life. That cafes, coffee and food in general crop up more than you might think is a pure coincidence.

An evening stroll along the Tyne took me past the tilting bridge on the Tyne. It’s unusual design means it opens a bit like an eye winking to allow shipping to pass underneath. It’s the middle of the week and it’s been one of those weeks where a lot of “stuff”has been sorted out but none of them were things I had set out to do.
