LISCARD. A Sunny Day In A Walled Garden.

A bus ride I enjoy is out under the Mersey and onward through Birkenhead and on to New Brighton. Sometimes if the weather is decent I break the journey at Liscard for a walk around Central Park

Ah Blackpool, the Queen of the Lancashire coast some would say, cheeky, fun, rowdy sometimes but it always does what it says on the tin
The days are easing into a more comfortable state, not luxurious but more comfortable.
The weather is still stuck in “Unfriendly” mode but sitting in looking out at the world outside is not one of my favourite ways to pass the time so it was on with the big coat and out on the bus to Preston.
It wasn’t the most promising of days but the cabin fever had been biting hard all week so I braved the unfriendly elements and took a train ride up to the town of Leyland, a little to the south of Preston in Lancashire.
As well as using public transport I do drive. Me and my little beat up car get out and about, when I’m looking for that extra little bit of travel flexibility that come with using the car instead of the train or the bus.
