CROMARTY. Waiting For The Nigg Ferry.

Sitting at the tip of the Black Isle Cromarty is home to the Ferry across the mouth of the Cromarty Firth to Nigg on the northern shore.

The winter planning continues, though as I look out of the window I wonder if summer is ever coming back or was it just a figment of my imagination.

On my travels, I’m heading down to Shrewsbury to catch up with a friend before Christmas takes over and the roast dinner/ chocolate/ drink event horizon hits. This journey down Through the Welsh borderlands is a favourite of mine, each season adds a different flavour. Today’s is a light dusting of snow and a crisp, sharp light cutting through an idling mist.
