LIVERPOOL, A Calderstones Park Spring.

I’m sat in my little spare bedroom of an office watching the rain hammer down outside, which is I suppose preferable to being out in it. Even without the current sadnesses and difficulties, this is a part of the year that always drags for me. Daylight is still on the scarce side and the weather is as unpredictable as a half starved Bugblatter Beast from Traal ( yes it’s the kind of weather where a Hoopy Frood needs to know where his towel is #HGTTG )

HEXHAM. Window Shopping.

Due to present circumstances like many people I’m not doing any travelling, well not in the physical sense. I am though getting out and about through my photo files. Editing them is an ongoing task but the upside is that I often come across the forgotten gems, the shots that have been lost for a while in the undercurrents and eddies while the new images flow past.

SHEFFIELD. Fountains In The Evening.

Sheffield is a favourite destination. I’m no expert of the South Yorkshire city but I’m working on it. It’s a relatively easy place for me to get to. By car, if I have to, I take the route through Derbyshire and the Snake Pass. The preferred option though is the train. There’s a regular through service from Warrington which is straightforward for me to get to.
