After my very pleasant lunch I took at walk away from the buzz of the city centre, and headed out to the nearby coast. An evening stroll along the Tyne took me past the tilting bridge on the Tyne. It’s unusual design means it opens a bit like an eye winking to allow shipping to pass underneath.
