Good morning one and all. Today I take the train to York. The day has started with a bit of a confunderance, the train I was going to catch was cancelled, thanks, but with a bit of timetable juggling, I’m at Manchester, sat on a Scarborough train which will get me to Leeds. Then I can carry on to York. That’s the plan…..

The sorting process for places to visit in 2023 continues. West Yorkshire has popped up on my radar, now for some reason I haven’t travelled over that way for quite a while.

As well as using public transport I do drive. Me and my little beat up car get out and about, when I’m looking for that extra little bit of travel flexibility that come with using the car instead of the train or the bus.

The year is starting to tumble towards a close. I know that September has only just stepped up to the mark but it’s about now that things start to go a bit Helter Skelter.
