A jewel in the Peak District, Buxton sits high in the Pennine range of hills that reach down through England from the Scottish Border. A Spa town it attracted the titled, the famous and is still today a magnet for tourists.

I had hazy, lazy Sunday on my hands and the weather, for once, didn’t have a sulky face on it. Not wanting to waste sunshine or fresh air I set my sights on Chester.
