The year is slowly dragging itself out of the winter slump, though sunshine is still as unlikely as a win on the lottery. So when the big yellow thing appears in the sky you don’t hesitate but just grab your coat and head out of the door before the weather changes its mind.
Well the weather is still firmly in grumpy mood so that can take the edge off travelling. No matter If I’m not careful the clock will spin around and I will be into November, grumbling that the year has gone by and I’ve done nothing.
Slowly, oh so slowly, Winter is beginning to loose its grip on the world around us, though it’s still going dark about five pm in these parts.
Bored with staring out of the window watching rain clouds scuttling across the skies, a few days back I decided to get out for a Sunday lunch to a favourite spot of mine. I headed out to the Lancashire coast and Lytham, oddly I hadn’t been there since well before Christmas, didn’t realise it has been quite that long.
