I’ve just stumbled across these images, they were taken on a Spring day walk through the Sankey Valley.

Sorting through the photo files, trying to swap out the chaos and bring a little order. it’s one of those never ending tasks that well, never ends and I came across this scene.

Okay, made it to Barrow around the top of Morecambe Bay, there was an hour or so before the next train onwards so that was a perfect excuse for a brisk walk down into town and find a coffee and a quick bite to eat.
