BANGOR. The Lion On The Wall.

I took a trip into North Wales at the weekend. Train into Bangor then the bus onward to Caernarvon. The weather could have been a little kinder but it was a day out and there were photos to track down.

The day has continued. I arrived in Buxton quite handily for the bus down to Bakewell. The really helpful bus driver pointed out that the day ticket was not only cheaper than two single tickets but it also covered a bigger area. So game on and first stop Bakewell. Where there was a Farmers Market in progress. Hmmm, food…. I had a wander around that. I managed to only buy […]

A Little while ago I took a trip out to Hull on the east coast. Things had begun the long return to normal and I needed to visit a place I either hadn’t been to before or hadn’t been to for a long time. I bimbled around the house for a couple of hours first thing but no matter what I did, how I turned the days ignition key it wasn’t going to burst into life. Mercifully days like this are very few and far between and the standard cure is grab a camera and head out […]

This slight melancholic feeling isn’t helped by the sparse facilities at the towns station. The impression is reinforced by being able to see the elegant building on the front that used to be the town’s […]

My day in Chester continues. I am currently sat in the Square Bottle, a Wetherspoons pub, enjoying a refreshing pint that is cheaper than a coffee from some of the surrounding caffeine outlets. I’m enjoying a pint of Full Whack from the Peerless Brewery of Birkenhead, very refreshing and just the thing for a muggy afternoon. https://www.visitcheshire.com/chester https://www.visit-chester.co.uk/ https://www.visitcheshire.com/ Other Links. https://www.amazon.co.uk/-/e/B00TKGBNYM https://www.shutterstock.com/g/Lachlan1/sets https://lachlan-main.pixels.com/
