Right, when last we spoke I was leaving Chorley and heading to Lancaster. Well I made it there, it was still raining by the way, and after a walk in the rain I decided to head out to Morecambe and sea the sea.

It’s only a short journey out to Morecambe, I have a real affection for the place even though it’s looking a bit threadbare in places. Hopefully the arrival of the Eden North project will give the town the shot in the arm it deserves and some of the TLC it needs.

The rain had lessened, not by a great amount so I chanced a walk up to Bare, at the northern end of the town. There’s a tidy, friendly bar up that way,The Little Bare. I felt I’d earned a drink in its warm and dry surroundings, so I treated myself.

So I’m on the second of my sequence of buses home. Yes it’s still raining.
I hope your day has been a bit dryer than mine.
