And hello from Lancaster, the trains in the UK are still bedeviled by industrial action but there are some skeleton services running so I’ve taken advantage of that to head out to Lancaster and Morecambe. The connections are a little adrift so I’ve had a quick walk around Lancaster before heading out to the seaside.
Should you find yourself in the English county town of Lancaster you could does than to take yourself off to the John O’ Gaunt pub ( other pubs are available) . I made my second visit this week and it was just as much fun as the previous one. I think it may be becoming a habit. I could think of worse ……. I am currently sat in the First Light Cafe in Lancaster, it raises finds for ex-service personnel. I have some plans for the day but I’m always open to the serendipity of a day as it unfolds, hence the timetable in front of me and the bemused look on my face.
