Going back to my rail journey along the Conwy Valley and up to Blaenau Ffestiniog, I was making my way back to the station, it’s that thing when you’re retracing your steps you seen all the things you didn’t see when you were walking the other way. The change of viewpoint, a different angle of view, throws up odd corners and alleyways that suddenly gain an added level of interest.
That said I had seen this garage on my first walkabout, coming back past it it did set me thinking what the back story was. What was the chain of events? One big catastrophe, or a sequence of things that finally built up to a tipping point?
I wonder if it is in a limbo? Just waiting for someone to come along and breathe a fresh life into it.
