KESWICK. A Rainy Day In Hope Park.

While I’m not a great fan of getting wet there is sometimes a bit of magic to be had walking amongst the flowers on a rainy day.

It’s a Monday and I’m out and about, meeting up with my good friend and fellow photographer the G-Man (Gareth). For once I am reasonably organized, plus the trains made a great connection at Chester, which all means I am in one of my favorite places, the Shrewsbury Coffee House, with time to spare for a soothing latte and a bit of thought organizing. I had lunch in Chorley today and as usual I had a wander through Astley Park and up to the Hall. The was activity all around, Chorfest was up and running and preparations were in hand for the upcoming flower show. That’s in my diary for the upcoming weekend. One of the things I look forward to on my cake and coffee hunting trips is finding somewhere that not only has the pre-requite good coffee and wonderful cake but as a bonus has a big window that I can sit by and watch the world go by.

One of the highlights to my visits t the Scottish Highlands is the annual Thunder In The Glen Harley Davidson owners meeting.
