Sometime you know that you just have to get out of the house, no matter what chores are calling out to be done or what state the weather is in.
A favourite destination of mine is Shrewsbury. It’s a pleasant and easy rail journey from where I live, down to Chester then along the Welsh border through Ruabon, Chirk and Gobowen.
