As any regular readers of these ramblings will know I like a proper market. Dream catchers and scented candles have their place but you cannot beat a decent, old fashioned market. Shrewsbury is one of those. I am not the biggest fan of the building’s architecture but the contents are superb. Fresh fruit and veg, meat and fish plush some extremely tidy places to eat. Put it on your list…….

Okay so it started raining and I ducked into the market hall. I just happened to pass this stall. And I thought it would be bad mannered just to walk by okay ?? It was a really good sandwich, the place has gone into my little black book.

Right, I have just bopped off the train in Shrewsbury and have nimbly strolled across the street to the Shrewsbury Coffee House. The above is to kick start my visit. There will be other pitstops later, #fatrat.

Trundling homeward now, just whittling away the minutes until the train arrives. As station buildings go Shrewsbury does have some class. Built by the Great Western Railway it has the imposing presence of an abbey. Right, electric scribbling over, the train is scuttling into the platform. Enjoy your evening all.
