It looks like the sun has not got his hat on today, in fact he’s taken the day off and Mr Bluesky is somewhere behind a layer of porridgey grey sky. Nevertheless, I’m braving the weather with a train and bus trip up to Keswick, better to get wet in a pretty area like the Lake District than sitting in counting the flowers on the wallpaper. The journey continues.
Outside the skies are gray, the wind is blowing and the rain is falling. Not the best of evenings. But on the plus side March is nearly here and Spring is creeping ever closer. The returning pleasures of long days and sunshine, throwing off the mole like hibernating habits of winter.
The winter planning continues, though as I look out of the window I wonder if summer is ever coming back or was it just a figment of my imagination.
So I landed up in Keswick in the early afternoon, I’d no particular plan for the day so like I said earlier I didn’t want the blue skies and sunshine go to waste.
