CHORLEY. Tasting Time.

One thing I can say about Chorley is that they do do a good do.
One of the many delights of the Edinburgh Festival is walking down the Royal Mile past the preview stages and taking in the bite sized samples of the shows on offer. Music, drama, magic or just plain odd, they are all their for your enjoyment.
Autumn’s winds are getting cooler and the clocks go back at the end of the month. The long drag of Winter is just around the corner. At least I have plenty of sunshine on file in my photographs.
A Little while ago I took a trip out to Hull on the east coast. Things had begun the long return to normal and I needed to visit a place I either hadn’t been to before or hadn’t been to for a long time. After a bit of head scratching and no I didn’t get any splinters in my fingers, I decided on a revisit to Hull.
Well the prospect of travelling again inches slowly closer, though at the moment as the rain streaks down my windows and the wind bounces around my garden, that prospect seems as far away as ever.
