PWLLHELI & CAERNARFON. A Day Of Two Halves.

A couple of weekends back, I decided on a day in Wales at the sea side. Trains and buses were the transport options, a sit back and relax sort of journey.

The weather is still stuck in “Unfriendly” mode but sitting in looking out at the world outside is not one of my favourite ways to pass the time so it was on with the big coat and out on the bus to Preston.

It wasn’t the most promising of days but the cabin fever had been biting hard all week so I braved the unfriendly elements and took a train ride up to the town of Leyland, a little to the south of Preston in Lancashire.

Arrival in Bangor went trouble free. The train was a “proper” one with carriages and a locomotive. Like having a train set again.
