I finished off my day with a walk along the Promenade. Leaving the market I headed out to the promenade. The sun was glorious with only the shadows hiding a cool edge to the day. That said people were out and about enjoying the first bursts of almost spring warmth, throwing off the shackles of a winter that is in danger of overstaying it’s welcome.

The day continues with a drop in at Fleetwood Market. Like all markets the last couple of years have not been the easiest. The place had a buzz about it, the decent weather ( at last!) helped, plus I think that traditional markets attract a certain amount of affection and loyalty because people know what they are, a social hub as well as a place to shop. The sun is high in the sky today so I’m off out and about to make the most of it before that fickle mistress, the British weather changes it’s mind and flounces off under a rain cloud. It’s market day at Fleetwood, think I’ll head off there.

It’s a Saturday, the year is picking up speed, Spring is just around the corner and Mr. Bluesky has put in an appearance.
