The travels, musings and thoughts of a man and his camera.

SNAPSHOT! Leyland, Worden Park Walkabout.

Part of the epic model railway set up.

The sun is shining and the breezes are warm so rather than stay indoors I took myself off to Leyland in Lancashire for a wander around Worden Park.

Spring is here and the blossom is blooming.

The park is on the edge of the town, an easy walk from the railway station and yes I stopped for a bite to eat on the way through.

A bite to eat….

The park is an oasis on the site of a grand house which met it’s end in a fire, though fragment survived. These are currently under restoration and expansion to provide a weddings/arts/ community hub venue

Must get a ticket to ride.
Craft outlets in the courtyard.
And yes there’s ice cream.
