LANCASTER. Rounding Off The Day.

When last we spoke I had just eaten my emergency pork pie, blundered there it was gorgeous, I should have bought two (possibly three?) and I was making my way back along the Bay to Morecambe and the train home.

Dear readers you find me in Preston, Lancashire, UK. I am heading north to Lancaster and then on to Morecambe on the beautiful Morecambe Bay. We’re now in the long stretch of the short, blink and you miss them days, so I’m making the most of every opportunity to get out into whatever sunshine is on offer. On the next leg, the day unfolds.

Out and about today, making the most of the daylight before Winter’s icy hands get a grip on things and the long, languid days fade until the fresh buds of next spring. The destination for today is North Wales, Beaumaris on Angelsey to be exact. It’s a train and bus exploration so it will be interesting. It will also involve cake, coffee etc at some point.
