CHORLEY. The Flat Iron on a Sunny Day

Well I never, there’s a big yellow thing in the sky, I think it’s called the sun. It’s been a while since I last saw it in these parts.

Taking advantage of this I took a ride out to Chorley, I had stuff to do, people to see and food to eat

A fantastic chicken bowl with sweet chilli dip. A great lunch at Bee’s Country Kitchen.

Being Tuesday it meant that not only was the market hall open but the Flat Iron market was also present, the extra stalls threading themselves through the streets. Giving an extra buzz to an already busy day.

Blue skies and sunshine,on a proper street market.
A cheese stall, places like this go a long way to explaining my waistline.
In the covered market, open for conversation as much as shopping.
Music while you shop.
