The travels, musings and thoughts of a man and his camera.

EDINBURGH. A Day At The Festival.

Elevenses before the off.

Hello from Edinburgh, the Festival is in progress and I am here for the day. Arriving about half an hour ago the first order of the day was of course coffee and cake. Today’s venue is the Red Cockerel on Princes Street and the choice is a latte and an almond croissant.

The plan I’m thinking of is to head up Lothian Road and back onto the Royal Mile through Bruntsfield and the Meadows. That way makes a change to my usual route which is out of Waverley station and up and around the climbing bend of Cockburn Street.

Right, just the last of my brew to finish and I’m on my way. Today’s camera is my Nikon D3200 with its kit lens but I’m also carrying with it a couple of old school manual lenses. Much fun to be had ahead.
