lachlansimages

The travels, musings and thoughts of a man and his camera.

EDINBURGH. Some Nooks & Crannies.

EDINBURGH. Nicolson Street, cafe faces.

Okay, who’s up for a quick, black and white, whistle stop tour of some of Edinburgh’s less touristy bits? There’s no need to pre book or socially distance. Just make yourself comfortable, perhaps with a plate of nibbles or left over Christmas chocolates ( something never heard of in my house….) and possibly a drink? The stronger the better if you are a regular reader of my blog.

Enough waffle, lets hit the photos. They were taken between 2009 and 2019, that wasn’t a deliberate choosing on my part, I just went for the one’s that caught my eye. I like to get up to Ediburgh a couple of times a year if I can, especially for the Festival. These shots will have been taken when I’ve taken myself off from the Royal Mile to get a breather from the carnival of madness that is the Fringe Festival.

EDINBURGH. West Princes Street Gardens stairs.
EDINBURGH. John Donald & Son, Glass, China & Earthenware Merchants.
Looking down a rainy close ( alleyway )
SONY DSCA window on a landing on the Scotsmans Steps.
Now that was a bit of a rush I know, so treat yourself to a drink at Sandy Bells just by Bristo Place.
