Today on my trip to the North East I made my way out to the Newcastle suburb of Jesmond. I’ve been visiting the city and area off and on for years but for some reason I’ve never made it to this particular corner.
My destination was meant to be the beauty spot of Jesmond Dene but on the way I spotted this rather engaging eating place, Cafe 1901. I couldn’t resist so I had an early lunch/brunch of Eggs Royale and very good they were too.
