It’s funny how some days turn out. I’d planned a day in Lancaster with a trip out to Morecambe for the evening.

While I’m not a great fan of getting wet there is sometimes a bit of magic to be had walking amongst the flowers on a rainy day.

It’s Saturday and I’m on my travels. The railways are still like playing roulette but you have to make the effort. The current plan is to Lancaster by train then the Lakes Rover bus ticket onwards, a bit of bet hedging coming into play there.
