Two shots from two cities I spend time in, Manchester and Sheffield.
Sheffield is a favourite destination. I’m no expert of the South Yorkshire city but I’m working on it. It’s a relatively easy place for me to get to. By car, if I have to, I take the route through Derbyshire and the Snake Pass. The preferred option though is the train. There’s a regular through service from Warrington which is straightforward for me to get to.
The clocks are changing back and the year is helter skelter-ing its way to an end. Before the days get too short to travel far I took a train trip over the Pennines to Sheffield. Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, is another of my favourite destinations, I travel; there by train from Manchester, the route goes through the Hope Valley in the beautiful Peak District passing through the villages of Edale, a stopping off point for the Pennine Way and Castleton a village dominated by Peveril Castle.
