MORECAMBE. A Vintage Day Out.

It was to the coast for me last weekend, to Morecambe for the Vintage By The Sea festival.

It’s an event I only dropped onto last year though it has been running for a while. It’s an excuse to raid the dressing up box and polish, or get your chauffeur , to polish the drop head Bentley or elegant Alvis and pootle along to the seaside.

Right just to tidy up my Shrewsbury trip so it can be put safely into the big box of stuff and memories.

Lately the UK has been enjoying a run of hot weather, very enjoyable it is too. As well as being something of a guilty pleasure to us natives. Sunshine? Warm weather? Somehow the British Isles must have drifted off nearer to the Mediterranean.
