Autumn’s winds are getting cooler and the clocks go back at the end of the month. The long drag of Winter is just around the corner. At least I have plenty of sunshine on file in my photographs.

It’s a Sunday after a busy and enjoyable Saturday roaming around the Peak District. So I’m having a relaxing couple of hours before I get stuck into the creative tasks like editing yesterday’s photos, oh and doing my laundry. It’s just one mad creative whirl in my world. At last the year is slowly feeling like it’s getting into gear. The little hints are there, daylight is no longer packing its bags for the day mid afternoon and plants and the like are beginning to shuffle off the winter inertia and jiggle back into life. The queue at my bird table is livening up as well and I’ve already had a couple of adventurous bees bumbling around the few spring flowers that have made the brave decision to open.
I don’t know about you but I often find doorways fascinating. Anybody looking through my photo files will find random shots of them in all shapes and sizes.
