LISCARD. Faces In The Park.

I’ve a couple of routes to chose from on my wanderings across the Wirral, the thumb like area that faces Liverpool on the one side and North Wales on the other.

For many years I would holiday in Scotland, basing myself in Dunkeld, Perthshire. It’s a beautiful area in it’s own right but with the added attraction of really good travel connections by either road or rail to other parts of the country.

The day started with a grim face but has cheered up. Don’t be fooled though, the brisk sunshine has Storm Arwen’s cold heart wrapped up inside it. I’m taking advantage of the sunshine even though it’s very much Big Coat weather. I’ve a couple of errands to sort out then it’s back home to my cosy front room.

There’s a certain romance about travelling by rail and yes I know there can also be some frustration too.
