It was an unpromising day weather wise and it stayed that way. I risked a journey out, the trains were on strike so I opted for a bus journey out to Southport and back. I took a ride over to Chorley yesterday evening, it was the second night of the always entertaining Chorley Live music event, where shops, pubs and squares become venues for live music and the spoken word.
