
Okay, first visit of the day was the Botanic Gardens on the edge of the city. It’s not a long walk from the station and the Eccleshall Road stretch is interesting with it’s spread of indie shops and bars. The first decision was food now or food after the gardens, it was food now… I went to a place I hadn’t been to in a while, I was glad to see that it had survived the upheavals of the last few years, it’s called Spoiled For Choice and it’s an appropriate name. As per the photo above I went for the roast beef and blue cheese combo. May sound odd to some tastes but it’s a pleasing mix. There were other temptations available though.
