I’m off on a quick trip into Liverpool by train and I’ll be using the fast service from Newton station, the TPE one with the posh trains and the wifi etc.
The station at Newton had a makeover a couple of years ago, from cosy Victorian brick to minimalist glass and angles.

For now the old building is empty, it is available to let I believe. Hope it finds a new use before long, I’d hate to see it fall into wrack and ruin.

Hmm, cafe, micro bar anyone?
