Events move on. A change of plan means I’m on my way to Wrexham. I’m traveling down the Wirral by the Borderlands Route to Wrexham General station.

I’ll offer a thought, I know new trains are a coming in would it be worth considering then to extend services back to New Brighton at the Wirral end? There was a connection which was taken out a few years back. Time to reconnect?
