Chester is a place where history on is writ large, you walk around surrounded by the past’s echoes, from Roman times onwards. Today as I walked along Eastgate Street a dance of the old times went on in the sunshine. Times when the other world was a bit nearer and less hidden away in corners and mists.
To continue the day. I arrived in Chester and decided to take a walk over to Hoole, it’s only a few minute walk from the railway station, it’s an area that was scheduled for demolition but wiser heads prevailed and it’s now an area of interesting independent shops.
