It looks like the sun has not got his hat on today, in fact he’s taken the day off and Mr Bluesky is somewhere behind a layer of porridgey grey sky. Nevertheless, I’m braving the weather with a train and bus trip up to Keswick, better to get wet in a pretty area like the Lake District than sitting in counting the flowers on the wallpaper. The journey continues.
The Weekend has been and gone and Monday finds me a bit breathless after a Saturday trip up to Appleby to see the horse fair. Checking back I was startled to see that it was ten years since I was last there. So I decided it was time for a catch up.

My refreshing pint finished I’m now heading down to the Pier Head. The crowds are filling up the nearer I get to the action, I’m glad I took a break further out.
