I haven’t been to Maryport in a while, passed through, passed by etc. While I was in Carlisle I took the opportunity to ride down on the train, it’s only about forty five minutes and Dona catch up. I couldn’t have picked a better day. As I walked up from the station the streets were thronging with people because it was the day of the Community Carnival and parade. People were out and a good time was going to be had and it was.
