I felt like treating myself. January is coming to a close and the days are starting to inch their way a little longer, if not much warmer as yet.
I headed off to Lytham on the Lancashire coast, just to the south of Blackpool. It’s a tidy place, one I visit regularly. There’s plenty scope when it comes to capturing comings and goings and street photography n general.
There’s a good selection of places to eat and I have my favourites, one of which is the Lytham Kitchen. It’s in the town centre, opposite the War Memorial. I often stop off for the home made soup or a soup and sandwich combo. They have a bank of seats that face out onto the street, these are my favourites, I can enjoy a mix of great food with a view of Lytham going about its business. So today though I thought I have something a little more substantial and a look at the full specials board confirmed my choice. I went for a Sunday roast, beef, Yorkshire pudding and vegetable selection.
I’ll just say, it was very, very, very good…..
