I greet you from Shrewsbury, I’ve not been down this way for a while. But the sun is shining, I think the birds are singing somewhere and the ride down on the train is generally a relaxing. Today it was a little less so, never mind I now have coffee, sourdough toast and marmalade to relax with before I hit the town.
The Weekend has been and gone and Monday finds me a bit breathless after a Saturday trip up to Appleby to see the horse fair. Checking back I was startled to see that it was ten years since I was last there. So I decided it was time for a catch up.
I hadn’t been on a long train journey for a while, they are something I enjoy, just sitting back and letting the world wind itself past the window. Finally I made it to the River and the Pier Head where the action was going to be taking place in the Liverpool Arena.
