LANCASTER. InThe Pub With John ( Of Gaunt ).

My pint of Old Peculiar awaits my attention.

Right, so to help digest the pie and chips ( I refer you to the earlier post ) I took another turn or two around Lancaster in the hope that the weather might show a little cooperation but it didn’t.

So as anyone who follows these ramblings will know I have a selection of bolt holds and hideaways, cafes and pubs , dotted hear and there one of which is the John O Gaunt pub in Lancaster, hard by the museum.

It has “character” plus it also hosts live music, I’m no expert, I just like the sound it makes etc. So to dry off and warm up a bit before heading home I stole in for a pints worth of music.
